Tanzania has some of the finest wildlife country in Africa, from the open plains of the Serengeti to the baobab woodland of Tarangire and the crater floor of Ngorongoro. We are based in Arusha, the starting point for the northern parks, so we plan and run every trip from right here.

On a private safari the 4×4 and driver-guide are yours for the whole trip. You set the pace, stop as long as you like at a sighting and decide how early to leave camp. If you prefer company and a lower cost, ask about joining a group safari.
Choose from campsites and simple lodges, comfortable tented camps, or premium lodges in prime locations. You can mix styles on one trip, for example a special camp in the Serengeti and simpler nights elsewhere. Your quote shows exactly where you stay.
Wildlife moves with the rains. June to October is the classic dry season for game viewing, while the green months bring newborn animals, birds and fewer vehicles. We plan your route around the season, including where the wildebeest migration is likely to be.
before you ask
Two or three days is enough for Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater. To include the Serengeti comfortably, allow at least five days, and seven or more if you want time to explore it properly. Distances are long, so fewer parks with more time in each usually works best.
On a private safari the vehicle and guide are for you and your companions only, and the itinerary is built around you. On a group safari you share the vehicle and costs with other travellers on a set route. Ask us which suits your dates.
Yes, and many guests do. A common plan is to climb first, rest, then go on safari, or finish a safari with a few days on the beach. We arrange the transfers and domestic flights between each part.
Yes. Families travel with us regularly. Tell us your children's ages, as some lodges have age limits and long drives suit older children better. A private safari lets you set a pace that works for the whole family.
