Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge

A lodge on a gentle slope above Lake Eyasi, the seasonal soda lake south-west of Karatu, with views across the water and up to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Rooms are in stone double cottages, each with its own veranda facing the lake, and solar power runs the lights and hot water. Staff will walk you down to the shore, and there is a pool for the afternoon. Tours stop here to spend time with the Hadzabe and Datoga people who live around the lake.
