where you stay
A quiet campsite at about 4,200 metres in the Moir Valley, below the Lent Hills on the northern edge of the Shira Plateau. Only climbers on the Northern Circuit usually sleep here, so it rarely feels busy. The old metal hut is for rangers; you sleep in tents. Your mountain crew carries everything up and pitches your sleeping tents and a dining tent with table and chairs, and the cook serves hot meals here morning and evening. Toilets at the campsite are basic long-drop facilities.
